Harlem EatUp! Festival Announced

By Marcus Samuelsson | May 20, 2014

Today I was thrilled to to announce The Harlem EatUp! Festival  scheduled to debut in May of 2015. I’ve partnered with Karlitz & Co. to create a Food Festival that is both uniquely delicious and philanthropic, with ticket proceeds going to City Meals on Wheels and Harlem Park to Park. President Bill Clinton and New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio were on hand to unveil the festival’s name and logo and remind all the press, ambassadors and community members present how truly special Harlem is. It is an honor to have their support and a sign of exciting things to come.

The magic and hospitality that I feel here everyday  is what we aim to convey with the Harlem EatUp! Festival. Also inspired by the art, music and culture that make Harlem so vibrant, the festival will be in and of the community, reaching beyond  the culinary world to be a true celebration of the entire neighborhood.
Many thanks to our first sponsors, EY, Cooking Light Magazine, Health Magazine, L+M Development Partners and The Clinton Foundation.
