Harlem Healthy Soul Fest at Apollo Theater

On Saturday June 1st, The Apollo Theater in Harlem will host The Harlem Healthy Soul Festival, a free, day-long block party on 126th St. In addition to live music, food and performances, the event will offer health screenings, cooking demonstrations and exercise advice for families in the community.

If you’re lucky you’ll bump into Tichina Arnold from “Everybody Hates Chris” during a Dance theater of Harlem performance. If you’re really lucky you’ll get to chat with Tamar Tunie (Law and Order: SVU’s Dr. Warner).
