Jazz Album Release Party with Christian Scott

By Ginny's Supper Club

My core belief is that no form of expression is more valid than any other … this has compelled me to create a sound that is genre blind. –Christian Scott

His previous album won the prestigious Edison Award for Best International Jazz Artist. He is a Grammy-nominated jazz trumpeter, composer, producer, and to top it off, he’s only 27 years old. Taking the music world by storm (trumpet always by his side) Christian Scott’s latest double-album “Christian aTunde Adjuah” is a tour-de-force of compelling creativity and reflective ballads.

Join us for dinner at his album release party at Ginny’s Supper Club that will surely be a night of musical stylings that can’t be missed. Scott’s latest musical masterpiece is a collection of 23 tracks spanning far beyond the sound of the trumpet. Infused with guitar-edged cookers and a touch of rock, Scott takes his listeners on a journey that most importantly, tells a story. While never abandoning his early jazz-brass sounds, this latest album tackles a conclusive list of themes, including his African ancestry and modern inequality. Celebrate Christian Scott and his band in an evening filled with music, laughter, dancing and triumphant trumpet to kick off the release of ”Christian aTunde Adjuah”.
