Last Mambo King Orlando Marin Performs

By Ginny's Supper Club

Ginny’s will be the throne for Last Mambo King Orlando Marin and his ten-piece band, La Orquestra de la Juventud (The Orchestra of Youth) on June 12th. If you’d like to put a Latin spin on your life, you don’t want to miss this legendary performer whose resume spans over a half-century of Latin percussion. As the epitome of Mambo, Marin has recorded notable albums like Out of my Mind, the first Bugaloo album ever, and Saxaphobia.

A well traveled Vet, Marin has graced stages at New York dance venues like the Limbo Lounge, Hunts Point Palace and even the historic Palladium Ballroom, where he’s dueled Tito Puente on timbales. So head uptown for a night of excitement with this Mambo legend and stay to hear DJ Sucio Smash spin hits in between Orlando Marin’s sets (9pm and 10:30pm). Don’t worry, we won’t stop you if you feel the need to dance!
