Weekly Dish Recommendation
After a long week of hard work, nothing hits the spot like barbecue. For an end of the week feast, try the barbecue pork ribs at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.
Just a short walk from Red Rooster, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que serves some of New York’s best pit smoked meat. Their St. Louis style ribs, slathered in a smoky sauce, feature pull-apart tender meat and sweet fat. Getting messy in a pile of these ribs is a good excuse to let loose.
For a side dish, I like the carrot and raisin salad, a refreshing break from an intense pork dinner. Dinosaur’s simmered greens are loaded with great collards flavor, and are vegetarian, too! I also like their meaty and rich beans with pork.
Relaxing on Friday is easy at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. Great company, great beer, and great ribs make for a great dinner.
