Not only is Earth Day all about conserving the environment, but also about raising awareness on healthy habits for your body, too. Clearly, the better and more natural a product is can benefit both your health and the planet.

Although the U.S. Food and Drug Administration decided last month that it would not ban the use of bisphenol A in food packaging, many companies have made a conscious effort to make BPA-free goods amid concerns over the compound’s potential effects on a child’s brain, behavior and prostate gland. Some of these businesses have added a creative twist to their items in order to make them more eco-friendly and appealing.

Check out our list below for some cool BPA-free products to help get you in that Earth Day mentality…

Three years ago, Kor released a limited edition “Thirst For Giving” water bottle. Kor is still actively involved with the “Thirst For Giving” project and is actively working with The Nature Conservancy to help create a protected region in the Bahamas.

321 Water Bottle

Here’s a fun fact: 321 Water recently had the honor of having its product featured in the hit movie The Hunger Games. The water bottle was invented by several designers who were inspired to create a stylish bottle that carried out the company’s message of preserving water use.

Vapur .4L Anti-Bottle

The Vapur Anti-Bottle holds like a Capri Sun. It’s foldable, and it can be flattened when empty. The design was so impressive that it earned the 2010 FPA Silver Award for Sustainability and Achievement.

Progressive Collapsible Storage Bowl

Like the Vapur .4L Anti-Bottle, Progressive’s Collapsible Storage Bowl is foldable and very portable. The bowl can also be used in microwaves and dishwashers, which makes it extra convenient.

Kids Konserve Food Kozy

Kids Konserve came up with the brilliant idea to create a reusable, BPA-free product that can be used to pack snacks or sandwiches. The company was founded by two mothers who were concerned that their children would contribute to and be affected by the pollution around them.
