Come See Me on Macy’s Food Truck and Help Feed America

By admin | July 29, 2011

Today I start my food truck tour with Macy’s Chefs-A-Go-Go tour. Chefs from Macy’s Culinary Council will take a ride on the Macy’s food truck and stop to serve guests who stop by with a dish of their own creation. The tour kicked off June 28th in Miami and is making its way up the coast. So if you’re in the Washington, D.C. area today, come by and try my favorite catfish and sweet potato fries.

On Sunday, I’ll be in my neighborhood of Harlem! The dishes are free but guests can support a good cause by donating to Feeding America ®, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization. For every $1 donated, Feeding America can help provide seven meals to those in need on behalf of local food banks. So stop by and meet me, eat, and donate to a good cause. I hope to see you all there!

Here’s where I’ll be this weekend:

Friday, July 29, 2011 11:00AM-3:00PM
255 7th Street Southeast
Washington, D.C. 20003

Sunday, July 31, 2011 Noon-4:00PM
126th Street & Riverside Drive
New York, NY 10027
