Fourth of July Recipe Roundup

It’s not too early to start thinking about recipes for the Fourth of July!  Independence Day is quickly approaching and you know what that means: time to stock up on all the key ingredients so you don’t get left in the lurch.

Whether you’re planning on grilling up some burgers or grilling up some vegetarian fare, you’ll need your choice ingredients for when that great All-American day comes ’round.Celebrate with tasty Iced Mint Tea and Grilled Cheese for a fast and easy picnic. If you’re planning on heading to the beach for the holiday weekend, stock up on all the ingredients you need for convenient outdoor campfire cooking. Kids of all ages love s’mores and you can even expand their palates with campfire vegetable Napoleons.

Burgers and hotdogs are fourth of July staples, but the sides are just as important. Egg salad and boiled new potatoes are sure to be snatched up quick due to the high tasty-factor. Both are great when topped off with some homemade sauces.

Don’t forget about the desserts: whip up some easy-to-make popsicles or other low calorie desserts for the whole family. No Fourth of July shindig is complete without apple pie though!
