Movie Theaters Improve Your Weekend Date

By mahir | January 21, 2011

As Hollywood spends more on productions and consumers spend less on DVDs, the pressure is mounting on theaters to provide a premium service.  Many moviewatchers are turned off by dingy carpeting and an atmosphere that is inferior to their own homes.  The solution?  Offering in theater dining.

Instead of digging your hand into a buttery tub of popcorn at the movies this weekend, you can have a full dinner.  Some movie theaters intent on recapturing customer’s affection have added a kitchen, with offerings such as Chicken Caesar Salad and a full bar for cocktails.

Although not suited to horror films, I can imagine that having a nice dinner and drink with a date during the newest comedy would be a fun weekend activity.
