Spring Over February Cocktail

Edsel LittleEnjoy the warm weather while it lasts with a refreshing cocktail that celebrates an early spring.
St. Germain provides a floral kick, while a cucumbery gin mellows the mix. After adding a little acid to round out the glass, while away the afternoon sipping on this drink.

Spring Over February Cocktail
1 ounce St. Germain
1 ounce Hendrick’s Gin (or some other gin with cucumber notes)
1/2 ounce lime juice
1 teaspoon simple syrup
Soda water, to taste
Cucumber spear, for garnish

In a cocktail shaker, combine the St. Germain, gin, lime juice, and simple syrup with enough ice to fill the shaker. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass. Top with soda water and garnish with a cucumber spear.
