Just in case you didn’t know, Harlem is home to one of the most famous theaters on the planet:  the Apollo Theater. Since introducing its legendary Amateur Night in 1934, the Apollo Theater has been the platform for launching aspiring artists such as Michael Jackson, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, Luther Vandross, and Lauryn Hill into immortal stardom.  To add to its allure, the Apollo Theater has booked a star-studded cast to join its Amateur Night in celebration of Harlem Week. From now through September 7th, you can experience performances by the cast of Mama I Want to Sing – The Next Generation, Pucho and the Latin Soul Brothers, Alyson Williams, Johnny Kemp, and Freddie Jackson.

To top it off the Apollo Theater Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, has just initiated the Apollo Membership Program this year that delivers an exclusive, one-of-a-kind experience to a select few.  Just consider this the honorary VIP card.  Members can attend private, members-only events, receive priority seating, meet with some of the world’s greatest artists, be a privileged guest at Harlem’s premier restaurants and boutiques, and much more.

Go celebrate Harlem Week with the stars at the Apollo Theater!
