The Global Food Crisis On The Huffington Post

Last week I shared my thoughts about the global food crisis on the Huffington Post. As I wrote, many countries in the world have rampant food insecurity, and it threatens the existence of those citizens and the stability of that region.  We’re a global community, and food connects us. From the subsidized crops exported from the United States, to when their imported in a foreign country, the prices of food have driven many into food insecurity.

Last Friday’s piece in the New York Times about “The Food Crisis“ urges the White House to “push back hard.  This isn’t a question of charity,” the article states, in reference to the undelivered money to the World Bank Fund.  “It is an issue of life or death for millions of people.”  It’s certainly food for thought.  What do you think?
