People often ask me what my favorite “weight loss” smoothie is. I don’t know if I could pick just one as my moods tend to shift from time to time. Sometimes I’ll want a Green Smoothie and sometimes I’ll desire something a little more dessert-like smoothie like a Chocolate Milkshake. I love the rich chocolaty flavor without the guilt! Lately I’ve been feeling inspired by fall flavors so I decided to add a little seasonal twist to this recipe.
This Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Smoothie is the perfect breakfast or snack that takes just a few minutes to make and helps you stay on track with your weight loss! I’ve been taking this smoothie for breakfast, as a snack, and when I’m on the go. If you’ve been making any fun smoothie combinations I’d love to hear about them! I am always looking for interesting ways to add a little “twist” to my favorite recipes.
Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Recipe
2 bananas – (you could also substitute 1 large avocado if you can’t do bananas)
1.5 cups almond milk
2 heaping Tbs Chocolate Powder
3-4 Dashes of Pumpkin Pie Spice
2 squirts Vanilla Stevia
- Simply add all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Viola!
