Cooking Historic American Recipes on ABC World News Tonight

It was great to be on ABC World News Tonight last friday to celebrate the National Archives new exhibition about American culinary preferences, including those of U.S. Presidents. I prepared President Lyndon Johnson’s Chili and a Ham Shortcake recipe from the 1946 School Lunch Act. It was really fun tasting a bit of history and getting to share the food with Mr. Ron Claiborne and Ms. Diane Sawyer. Check out the video here.
