The Coffee and Tea Festival NYC

This past weekend I attended the Coffee and Tea Festival NYC. If you’re a coffee and tea lover you may want to attend next year.

The event was an educational and inexpensive way to pass my Saturday afternoon.  People travelled from all over the country to network with a crowd of merchants, coffee aficionados and industry experts.  The free samples alone made it worth the entry fee! My favorite bits were the Ultimate Barista Challenge and lectures on coffee roasting and afternoon tea etiquette.

I gained greater respect for my field and my peers. Today, I know even more than I did last week about coffee and tea!

Below I’ve put together a little video highlighting the Ultimate Barista Challenge. It’s my first time using a Flip Camera so pardon the shakiness!

Until next week, breathe well and be well!
