“Oui, Chef” Wins Prestigious Book Award

By Fanny Sturen | October 19, 2012

Marcus’s book “Oui, Chef” has won an award in Best Swedish Food Literature 2012 (Årets Svenska Måltidslitteratur), in the category for Translated Literature – Story of the Year. The award will be handed out on October 26th by Måltidsakademien, a Swedish organization promoting development and research about food. The winners are selected by a jury and the competition is tough–Sweden is the country where most books about food are published per capita, almost one per day. If you have not read Marcus memoir about his journey from his grandmother’s kitchen to the most demanding restaurants in France, to where he is today, pick up a copy of “Yes, Chef” or the Swedish version, “Oui, Chef” .

Congratulations Marcus!
